Center on Halsted is the Midwest’s most comprehensive community center dedicated to advancing community and securing the health and well-being of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) people of Chicagoland. More than 1,000 community members visit the Center every day, located in the heart of Chicago’s Lakeview Neighborhood.
We Are Committed to a More Equitable World for LGBTQI+ People
Lesmon Experience is passionate about giving back to our local and global LGBTQI community in ways that make our world a better place.
We are committed to funding and supporting community and global organizations that defend human and civil rights, eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and support relief for vulnerable populations. As part of this effort, we donate 10% of all our profits to LGBTQIA+ organizations throughout the world.
How Does it Work?
When you purchase a trip through Lesmon Experience, you will receive a traveler’s questionnaire asking for information such as health insurance, medical issues, emergency contacts, dietary restrictions. On this form, you will also be asked which organization you would like to receive the 10% profit from your trip. Once a quarter, we send the donations to the various organizations that are supported through our trips. We keep it super simple for everyone!
