Are you ready?
Day 1: Arrival in Cusco – Transfer to Sacred Valley
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our staff and transferred to the hotel for rest and acclimatization.
Day 2: Chinchero Maras Moray + Community Tourism
After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the southern part of the Sacred Valley to explore the archaeological site of Chinchero, followed by a visit to the salt mines of Maras and the circular terraces of Moray. Next, we’ll head to a local community where you’ll receive a warm welcome with music, dances, and traditional attire. Enjoy a typical lunch and engage in the ancient art of Andean textile making using natural dyes and materials, known as the “Alejada” process. You’ll witness villagers demonstrate this traditional craft using homemade tools. At 5:00 p.m., we bid farewell to the community and return to the hotel in Sacred Valley.

Day 3: Paddle and Offering Ceremony to Pachamama
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer to the town of Piuray, where we’ll be warmly welcomed at the Piuray Outdoor Center with hot drinks, water, and snacks. Take this opportunity to unwind and soak in the surroundings—perfect for capturing memorable moments!
Our designated guide will equip us with all the necessary gear for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), or canoeing, along with a safety briefing and paddling technique instructions. The tour will last between 1 to 1.5 hours. Before embarking on the tour, there will be a 20-minute stretching session, followed by an optional breathing session and immersion in ice water. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to our hotel in the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon, we’ll partake in an offering ceremony to Pachamama at our hotel—a gesture of gratitude and a request for blessings for the future. Together, we’ll prepare the offering and then proceed to burn and deliver it to Pachamama. Throughout the ceremony, enjoy live native music featuring quenas, panpipes, and drums, with musicians accompanying us. Additionally, a soprano will grace us with her vocals.
Day 4: Sacred Valley of the Incas
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on our excursion to the Sacred Valley. Our first stop is the charming town of Pisac, renowned for its artisan market and Inca archaeological sites. Here, we’ll explore an ancient irrigation system, an astronomical observatory, the sundial (Intiwatana), and terraces that offer breathtaking views. Next, we’ll visit the Inkariy Museum, where we’ll embark on an immersive journey spanning 5000 years of history. Through captivating exhibits featuring images, ceramic replicas, infographics, models, and dioramas, we’ll delve into the rich heritage of ancestral cultures such as Caral, Chavín, Paracas, Moche, Nazca, Wari, Lambayeque, Chimú, and Inca.
Following our cultural exploration, we’ll indulge in a delightful lunch at a typical restaurant in the area. Afterward, our journey continues to the majestic ruins of Ollantaytambo. This ancient Inca site served as a fortified area, featuring a temple, platforms, and an urban sector. Divided into two distinct sectors—one dedicated to worship and religion, and the other to housing—Ollantaytambo offers insights into Inca civilization’s administrative and military functions, evident in its impressive walls and towers.
As we return to our hotel, we’ll make a stop at the Cervecería del Valle, where we’ll savor delicious craft beer and gain insights into its brewing process.

Day 5: Machu Picchu, the Marvelous Inca City
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we’ll board the Vistadome train. With its large windows offering spectacular views, the Vistadome train will take us on a scenic journey to the charming town of Aguas Calientes.
Upon arrival, we’ll be greeted by our guide and board a bus to the entrance of the magnificent citadel—Machu Picchu. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a masterpiece of Inca architecture and a testament to their ingenuity. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, Machu Picchu also boasts rich biodiversity, with endemic flora and fauna. During our 2 to 3-hour guided tour, we’ll explore the wonders of this ancient city.
Afterwards, we’ll return to Aguas Calientes for a delicious lunch. Then, we’ll board the train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer by vehicle to the city of Cusco.
Day 6: City Tour of Cusco
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a guided tour of the historic city of Cusco and its surrounding ruins. Our first stop will be the Cathedral located in the Plaza Mayor. Admire its Renaissance-style facade and ornate interior decorations crafted from cedar and alder.
Next, we’ll visit the Temple and Convent of Santo Domingo, built on the foundations of the Inca temple known as El Koricancha. This juxtaposition of Inca and Spanish colonial architecture offers a fascinating glimpse into Cusco’s rich history.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll head to the famous 12 Angle Stone, now a museum street, showcasing the mastery of stone architecture. Then, we’ll stroll through the picturesque San Blas neighborhood, known for its quaint charm and artisan workshops.
Venturing to the outskirts of the city, we’ll visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive Inca site renowned for its massive stone walls. While initially thought to be a military fortification, recent research suggests it served primarily as a religious complex.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Sulca Textile Museum, a treasure trove of Andean textile culture spanning over 5000 years. Marvel at exquisite textiles from ancient civilizations such as the Chancay, Paracas, Wari, and Inca. You’ll also have the opportunity to see South American camelids up close, including vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas, and browse a selection of alpaca clothing available for purchase.
Day 7: Excursion to Rainbow Mountain
Early in the morning, we will be picked up from our hotel in Cusco to embark on an excursion to the southeast of the city. Our journey takes us through Cusipata (at 3339 meters above sea level) before reaching the hamlet of Llactoc, where we’ll encounter herds of alpacas and llamas amidst the region’s typical flora.
Here, we’ll commence a scenic hike lasting approximately 2.5 hours. Along the way, marvel at the snow-capped peaks and breathtaking landscapes stretching into the distance. Our ultimate destination is the famed Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca). After reaching the summit and capturing unforgettable photos, we’ll begin our descent, lasting about 1.5 hours, back to Llactoc.
Upon returning to Llactoc, we’ll board our transportation and head to Cusipata for a delicious lunch. Then, we’ll continue our journey back to Cusco, arriving in the city around 5:30 pm. Transfer to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.

Day 8: Gastronomic Excursion
At around 9 am, we’ll be picked up from the hotel to embark on a culinary adventure. Our first stop is the renowned San Pedro Market, the heart of Cusco’s culinary scene. Here, we’ll select the freshest ingredients needed for our cooking workshop.
Next, we’ll head to a local studio where we’ll immerse ourselves in Peruvian cuisine. Under the guidance of expert chefs, we’ll learn to prepare traditional Peruvian dishes, including a starter, main course, and dessert – a delightful three-course meal. After cooking, we’ll indulge in our creations.
Following lunch, we’ll satisfy our sweet tooth at the chocolate museum. Here, we’ll delve into the rich culture of Peruvian cocoa and discover the art of crafting truffles. we’ll learn about the history of truffles and even make our own using typical Peruvian fruits.
To cap off the day, we’ll visit the Pisco Museum to learn about the production process of Peru’s famous spirit, Pisco. we’ll sample various types and blends of Pisco and participate in a fun workshop to master the art of preparing the iconic Pisco Sour cocktail.
After an enriching and delicious day, we’ll return to the hotel in Cusco.
Day 9: Farewell
After breakfast, we’ll prepare for departure according to our flight schedule. Our transfer will arrive at the hotel two hours before our flight, ensuring we reach the airport in good time.
